- Meet with the editorial team to discuss our intentions for each story
- be able to identify where the right “props” could be sourced
- have the transport to get to and from the shops and to the photographic studio
- be able to keep reliable records of what came from where, how much it cost and so on
- get everything returned in good condition.
They would work with the art director and photographer to set up the shot, then dismantle it and return the props to the shop. So I guess the personal qualities we are looking for are initiative, enthusiasm and reliability in addition to the good graphic eye. A lot of running around is involved, but I think it could be an interesting job for someone keen to explore working with a magazine.
Photography will take place late June and early July. I imagine that we would pay around $20 per hour plus mileage, and that the hours would stretch over a two-week period.
