
PROJECT ONE: SITE MAP
METHOD
1. You have been supplied with five patterns, each representing a site map.
2. Discuss in class what activities might occur on the site - choose activities that relate to your chosen object. How might these activities differ in each site.
3. Map the activities that occur on each site through the use of symbols and codes. Use colour, line weight and a variety of patterns to differentiate each activity. (x5 sketches).
4. Develop and refine x1 of your original sketches. (x1 Presentation Drawing).
5. Write a short story - no more than three paragraphs – describing what events/activities have occurred in your final
presentation drawing. (x1 Story)
FINAL REQUIREMENT:
1. x5 sketches of your site map
2. x1 presentation drawing of your site map
3. x1 story
USE THE FOLLOWING:
- A3 cartridge paper (for your completed presentation drawing)
- Ink pen, pencil, coloured pencil
- Butter paper

- The sharpness of your pencil
- Your use of lineweight
- Your use of colour
- Composition of your drawings on the sheet.
