THE TASK
1. Using After Effects create a 15-20 second (max) animation that spatially explores a chosen project from last semester.
2. Write up a timetable to help plan your process (this is a time managment exercise!).
3. Write a conceptual statement describing what you plan to show through the animation of your space.
STEPS TO CONSIDER
- Choose a drawing or model that you have made of an interior space (select a work from last semester)
- Scan or photograph your model or drawing (Do not destroy original work).
- Transform your space, for example show how the lighting in your space transforms from day to night (using Photoshop, collage, drawing, photography or modelling etc)
- Record the step-by-step transformation of your space (you will end up saving multiple images)
- Save your images as JPGS
- Construct your stop motion movie in After Effects (workshop on Thursday 11 Oct & Wednesday 17 Oct - bring you JPGS!!!).
