Our seminar series commences this Thursday 13 May and will run for 3 weeks.
All students are required to be present and prepared to present each day. Speaker order will be drawn on the day. A role will be taken. You are required to bring your glossary to take notes from each seminar.
A few hints and tips: 1. Make sure your seminar is only 15min. 2. Keep it interesting with discussion of inspiring projects which use your material. 3. Consider the balance between images and text. 4. Think about interactivity - samples are great. 5. Provide explanations of terminology that might be unfamiliar to your classmates.
Before you save your Powerpoint file please choose to 'compress images' to make the file size as small as possible. See this tutorial for tips. Save to memory stick or CD to play on my laptop.
