Snoezelen project briefing

Monday 30 July, 9:30am
Room 1-2144

Sally Legg from the Waitemata DHB will be giving a briefing for the Snoezelen project.

Snoezelen Rooms are state-of-the-art hi-tech multi-sensory zones designed to
stimulate the imagination and induce harmonious states of relaxation.
Waitemata DHB’s Mason Clinic is pioneering the use of this innovative environmental design technology to rehabilitate offenders with an intellectual disability.
Most of the interactive electronic equipment has been installed,
however suitably aesthetic interior surfaces and fixtures are yet to be designed.

A dynamic range of stimulating tactile accessories is also needed,
mindfully designed to suit the specific SAFETY requirements of this client group.

Coma along and get a full briefing on this exciting project.
