Curtain Call Studio: What's Happening next week

Dear students,
thank-you for your contribution to the studio session on Wednesday-there is some exciting work being produced and I think that sketch-up will be a valuable tool to help some of you render your set designs (thank-you Ingrid!)

As with last week I will have a pin-up sheet outside my door. Please sign up for an individual appointment and I will come down to your studio space to see you at the time you have designated. Please ensure that you have responded to the feedback recieved on Wednesday so I can best help you move the project forward. For those of you who did not attend the class or who feel they are getting behind please remember that it is critical that you attend ALL studio sessions and keep terms with both Ingrid and myself-this is the only way that we can ensure your success in this studio paper. Please contact us if you are unable to attend any sessions.

We will have a pin-up again next Wednesday in the same space we used this week. At this time we will expect all of you to have fixed upon a site and have documented it thoroughly (scale drawings a must and don't forget about the sections!). You will need to provide a rationale for why you have chosen this particular location, based upon your research into the play. You will be required to present initial mock ups of your set design/s (these can be a combination of drawings, digital models, physical models). In order for your set design to be meaningful it is absolutely critical that you have undertaken research into the play and ways it could be interpreted (this will also prove invaluable to your theory studies),

I look forward to seeing you all next week,
with best wishes,
Rachel.
